Bill Lightbody
William “Bill” John Lightbody of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Friday, April 4th, 2014, at the age of 89. Formerly of Bateman/Gravelbourg, SK, Bill is survived by his children, Murray Lightbody (Phyllis Woeppel), Linda (nee Lightbody) Csada, Vernon Lightbody, and Shelley (nee Lightbody) McCrea (Larry), his grandchildren Darren (Brittany) Csada, Kevin (Lauren) Csada, Scott (Erin) Bolen, Kimberly Bolen, Christa Csada and Tyler Bolen. Bill is also survived by his great-grandchildren Addison Csada and Brady Csada, as well as his siblings Jean (Ken) Burton, and Lorne Lightbody, and Bill’s partner Madeline Smith. Bill is pre-deceased by his wives Irene Lightbody (nee Hansford) and Lucille Lightbody (nee Gauthier), his parents James and Clara Lightbody, his siblings Robert, Kenneth, and Gordon. Bill’s funeral service will be held on Friday, April 11th, 2014 at 2 PM, at the Our Lady of the Assumption Co-Cathedral in Gravelbourg SK. Interment will take place at the Bateman Community Cemetery. Memorial donations in remembrance of William “Bill” Lightbody are welcome to the Gravelbourg Lions Club, Box 668, Gravelbourg, SK S0H 1X0.
