ROBERTS, CHRISTEL - The death of Christel Margaret Roberts of Norton, NB, age 71, wife of Donald Roberts, occurred on Monday, April 7, 2014, at the White Rapids Manor, Fredericton Junction, NB. She was born on October 22, 1942 in Wirral, NB, the daughter of the late Parker and Lillian (Perkins) Eastwood. Christel is survived by her husband, Donald of 50 years; brothers, Ronald Eastwood and his wife, Elizabeth of Wirral, NB, James Eastwood and his wife, Gail of Darlings Island, NB, Glendon Eastwood and his wife, Karen of Wirral, NB, Alan Eastwood and his wife, Bev of Burton, NB; sisters, Debbie of Wirral, NB, Shirley Rennick and her husband, George of Wirral, NB, Joy Nason and her husband, Richard of Tracy, NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB with visiting on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral service, conducted by Rev. George Howe will be held from Sherwood's Chapel at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 10, 2014. Interment will take place in Keirsteadville Cemetery in the spring. Donations in memory of Christel may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or to a memorial of the donor's choice.
