Tyler, Dwight Craig – Brookfield

Tyler, Dwight Craig – Age 68, Brookfield, passed away at his home, on April 9, 2014.
Born in Brookfield, on May 20, 1945, he was the only son of Lorne B. and Audry (Carter) Tyler.
Dwight was an electrician by trade, working for Portland, Dartmouth; Don Fisher Construction, Hilden; and later was self-employed. He was a master mason (1968) of Eastern Star Lodge #51, Dartmouth. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.
Surviving are his wife, of 38 years, the former Mary Kaulback; daughters, Terri Mingo (John) MacNeil, Truro; Teresa Mingo (Erik) Martin, Calgary, Alberta. He was very proud of his two grandsons, Jasper and Spencer MacNeil. Also surviving are special cousin, Marsha (Fulton) Hoffman, Ontario; and many extended family members.
Cremation has taken place.
In keeping with Dwight’s request, there will not be any visitation or funeral service.
Memorial donations may be made to Colchester East Hants VON, or Truro SPCA, or a charity of one’s choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
We thank “his girls” the VON, for their compassionate care over the past six years of Dwight’s illness.
