ZWICKER, RHODA W. - At her residence at the Passamaquoddy Lodge, St. Andrews, NB, on Thursday, April 17th, 2014; at the age of 101 years, Rhoda Wilhemina (Griffin) Zwicker, wife of the late Ashley Zwicker. Born on Wood Island, Grand Manan, NB she is the daughter of the late Frank and Linnie (Wilcox) Griffin. Rhoda was a longtime faithful member of the Wesleyan Church. Rhoda is survived by her daughter Ruby Bradford of Pennfield, NB, son Albert (Carole) of Orleans, Ont, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. Rhoda was predeceased by a daughter Ella (Zwicker) Flagg, son Glen, six sisters Ora, Cordelia, Nordica, Stella, Gladys and Helena, two brothers Sherman, and Leeman.
Resting at Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St Stephen, NB E3L 2B2 (506-466-3110) from where the service will be held in the chapel on Monday, April, 21st, 2014 with time to be announced. Rev. Bruce Cheney officiating. A reception will immediately follow in the funeral home reception centre. The interment will take place at a later date in St. Andrews Rural Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home during a time of visitation on Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
