GORDON ,BOURNEF (BERT) :
Age 68, of St. Alphonse NS, passed away Wednesday April 16, 2014 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital surrounded by his family. Born in Melbourne, NS he was the son of the late Albert & Helen (Surette) Gordon. He is survived by his wife Annette as well a his son Steve - he is also survived by sisters Kay, Nancy (Garry), Madeline, Judy (Scott), and brothers Albert, Lindsey (Sue), Chesley (Michelle), Gary, Wilbur (Agnes) & David (Joanne). Bert was predeceased by sisters Rachel & Thelma. There was no viewing by family request. A memorial mass took place Wednesday April 23, 2014 at 11:00 am from St. Raphael Catholic Church, Pinkneys Point. Burial took place in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers; donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to any charity of choice. Arrangements have bee entrusted Sweenys Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth.
