MUISE, M. Annette – age 86, The Meadows Home for Special Care, Yarmouth, formerly of Surette’s Island, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at The Meadows. Born July 24, 1927 in Morris Island, she was a daughter of the late Melbourne and Therese (Muise) Surette. She is survived by sons, Russell (Evelyn) Muise, Surette’s Island, Carl (Sandra) Muise, Derry, NH; daughters, Sharon (Arthur) Wonson, Saugus, MA, Prescilla Malcolm, Pittston, ME, as well as by nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters, Dolly LeBlanc, Wedgeport; Pauline Bourque, Surette’s Island; Verna Trefry, Hubbard’s Point and a brother, Austin Surette, Yarmouth. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Ludger. Visitation took place from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Friday, with prayers at 8 p.m., both at H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. The funeral mass was held at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 26 at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church, Surette’s Island. Interment took place in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to The Meadows Home for Special Care.
