It is with great sadness that the family of the late Raymond Wheeler announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on Friday, April 25, 2014 at the age of 84 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is his wife Valerie, 2 sons: Raymond Herbert Wheeler in Ship Cove, Robert (Violet) Dunklee in Port au Port, 4 daughters: Annie Mary (Vince) Russell in P.E.I., Lisa (Francis) Power in Kippens, Donna (Mark) Marche in Marches Point, Margret (Andrew Benoit) Wheeler in Red Brook, 4 brothers: Hubert (Mary) Wheeler in Ship Cove, Mike Wheeler in Kippens, William Wheeler in Ship Cove, Benjamin (Joanne) Wheeler in Bridgewater, 1 sister: Annie Mary (Andrew) Young in Ship Cove, 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Margaret Wheeler, grandson Andrew A.J. Benoit, brothers Jerry and Murdock, and sister Mildred Young. Visitation took place at our Lady of Fatima Parish Church on Saturday and Sunday April 26th & 27th. Funeral Service will take place at Our Lady of Fatima Parish Church on Monday, April 28th, 2014 with interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Ship Cove. As expressions of sympathy flowers or donations to a charity of one’s choice would be graciously appreciated.
