Passed peacefully away on April 24, 2014 at his home in Port Rexton, surrounded by his wife, children & grandchildren. Alvin Piercey in his 74th year, leaving to mourn his loving wife Lorraine, Daughter Lisa (Peter), three sons - Jeff (Arlene), Scott and Shawn, four grandsons - Luke, Benjamin, Joshua and Gabe, one granddaughter Samantha and one great grandson Hunter. Three sisters - Shirley (Ernest), Glenys (Richard), Carol (Nephew Steven), one brother Harold (Peggy), plus a large number of nephews and nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends both far and near. At his request cremation has taken place, he rested at Fewer’s Funeral Home in Clarenville, and memorial service took place on April 28, 2014 from Christ Church Port Rexton with interment at the Anglican Cemetery Port Rexton.
