LeBLANC, JOHN - It is with great sadness that the family of John Aimé LeBlanc announce his passing at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC on Sunday, April 27, 2014. Born June 9, 1943 in Shediac, he was the son of the late Joseph and Rita (Dupuis) LeBlanc. Prior to his retirement, John was a painter by trade; having worked all over the province. John enjoyed cooking, getting together with friends and family for coffee, and going for drives. He loved meeting people and was very interested in world history. John also took great pride in knowing his family’s genealogy. He will be sadly missed by his three daughters: Michelle Downing (Randy) of Grande Digue, Joanne LeBlanc (Alain) of Haute Aboujagane and Christine LeBlanc of Shediac and their mother, Auréa LeBlanc of Shediac; one son, Jonathan and his mother, Odette Comeau of Shediac; one sister, Brenda Lee (late Bob) of Shediac; one brother, Leon LeBlanc (Marie) of Shediac; two granddaughters: Julie (Gabriel) and Marie-France LeBlanc; many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Marguerite Watson (1987).
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In memory of John, a contribution to the Autism Resource Centre would be appreciated. Cremation and funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Frenette Funeral Center, Shediac.
