Passed away peacefully, at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at the age of 81. Leamon “Lea” MacLeod, beloved husband of Florence MacLeod (nee Gosley).
Dear father of Gary, Roberta Stewart, Mark (Debbie), Brenda (Jim Rawn) and Cathy Kindree (Chris). Cherished grandfather of Leaha, Christina, Katelynn, Jenna, Andrew, Teresa, Terri, Jordan, Aaron, Kyle, Krystal, Katelyn, Kurtis and his 13 great-grandchildren.
Leamon “Lea” is survived by his stepmother Phyllis MacLeod, sister Verna Delahunt (Bob) and brother Gerald MacLeod (Sharon), as well as his extended family and friends.
Visitation at Smith's Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), Burlington (905-632-3333), on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm, where a funeral service will take place on Friday, May 2, 2014, at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow. A memorial service in P.E.I. will be announced at a later date.
