It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patrick Joseph McKenna, peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton, Ontario, on April 23, 2014, in his 80th year.
Beloved husband of Patricia for 50 years. Devoted father to Shaun (Liesbeth), Karen (Gary), Gregory and Diane (Eric). Cherished "Poppa" of Meghan, Kaitlyn, Logan, Ethan, Liam and Abigail. Predeceased by his brothers James, Emmett, Michael, Stephen and Ivan. Survived by his siblings Martina, John, Beatrice, Jean and Earl. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Patrick was born and raised in Orwell Cove, P.E.I., and was a graduate of St. Dunstan's University. Remembered for his clever wit and handyman skills, and most of all, for spending time with his family.
The funeral mass was held on Monday, April 28, 2014, in Hamilton, Ontario.
