GAUNCE, AMY BEATRICE - It is with sorrow and sadness we announce the passing of Amy Beatrice Gaunce, at the Moira Place Long Term Care in Tweed, on Thursday, January 23, 2014. Amy Gaunce of L’Amable, age 101, born June 5, 1912, was the beloved wife of the late George Borden Gaunce. Daughter of the late Beaulah (Wasson) McLean and Alvin Lowell McLean. She is survived by sons Alvin (Heather) of Kamloops, BC, Gordon (Nancy) of Hampton, NB, and Glendon (Elizabeth) of L’Amable. Loved grandmother of Julia, Katherine, and Gregory, and great-grandmother of Chasity. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers, Frank and Douglas McLean, and sister, Cora Sandwith and all her many brothers and sisters-in-law.
Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium. A Memorial Service will be held at Chipman United Church, Chipman, NB on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Interment, Chipman United Church Cemetery.
