SCRIBNER, PETER - Peter Nicholas Scribner, 30, of Steeves Settlement, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at his home. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Gloria and the late Frank Scribner. Peter enjoyed fishing with his children, hunting and playing pool with his friends. He was a genuine, unpretentious individual who was a, "Take me as I am kinda fellow". Peter was a hard working labourer, currently employed with Wildwood Masonary. He is survived by his mother Gloria Scribner of Wheaton Settlement; cherished children Julie Lynn Scribner and Gaige Nicholas Graham Scribner; brothers and sisters Danny (Bonnie) of AB, Larry (Sonya) of AB, Esther Hicks (Boyd) of NB, Heath (Brenda) of NB, Priscilla Gillcash (Charles) of NB, Justin (Sandy) of AB, Jordan (Emily) of NB, Eden (Rae Anne) of AB, Sarah Steeves (Matthew) of NB and Rebecca Mitton (Chris) of NS; maternal grandparents Hubert and Edith Garner of Riverview and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his father Frank and brother Mark.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) visiting will be Tuesday, May 6 from 6 to 9 p.m. and from where the funeral will be held Wednesday, May 7 at 3 p.m. with Pastor James Hammond officiating. Interment at Lone Pine Cemetery at a later date.
