MacLEOD, JOANNE - Joanne Marie MacLeod, 52, of Wheaton Settlement passed away peacefully with her husband by her side early Monday, May 5, 2014 at home. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of Margaret (Mitton) and the late Fidele Gauvin. Joanne was a Customer Service Rep with Purolator. She enjoyed gardening and cooking but most of all time spent with family. Survived by her mother Margaret Gauvin of Riverview; her beloved husband of thirty-one years Donald; three sons Scott (Amber), Jim and Jason (Melanie) all of Moncton; sisters Jeannie Gauvin (Steve) of Riverview, Tracy Bourque (Luke) of Memramcook; brother Bob Gauvin (Betty) of Shediac; father and mother-in-law Don and Greta MacLeod of Amherst; sisters-in-law Catherine Cormier (Roger) and Jennifer MacLeod both of Moncton; brother-in-law Terry MacLeod (Sharon) of Dawson Settlement and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Mohammed Harb and Dr. Pamela Mansfield for their compassionate care.
There is no visitation or service by request. A private family graveside service will be held at the Wheaton Settlement Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Salisbury Funeral Home and Crematorium, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800).
