LEGERE, ADELAÏDE - 1924 - 2014 - Adelaïde Legere, 89, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Saturday, May 10th, 2014, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center. Born in Haute-Aboujagane, NB, she was the daughter of the late Hypolite and the late Herminie (née: Bourgeois) Richard. Mrs. Legere was a member of Saint-Anselme parish. She is survived by one daughter, Thérèse (Phil Gaudet) of Memramcook; four sons: Laurie, Raymond, both of Dieppe, Leonard (Kristine) of Fredericton and Roy (Sandra) of Dieppe; two sisters: Sara Cormier and Rita Melanson, both of Haute-Aboujagane; eight grandchildren: Tina, Brian, Monique, Marc, Stephanie, Michelle, Erika and Renelle; 10 great grandchildren: Mathieu, Nicholas, Emilie, Jacob, Rosa, Jaden, Luca, Liam, Olivier and Adèle, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Regis in 2002; six brothers: Lucien, Robert, Abbé, Alcide, Calixte and Emile and also by one grandson, Remi.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (857-1901) on Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also on Tuesday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Saint-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Tuesday, May 13th, 2014 at 11 am. Interment at Saint-Anselme Parish Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
