It is with broken hearts that the family of Vincent Joseph Fleming announce his sudden passing on Friday, May 9, 2014, at the age of 67 years. Sadly mourning his loss and celebrating his life of caring and gentle love are his wife Linda and her family, son Clint Hayward (Ruby and "Poppy's little man," Matthew), daughters Connie (Jeff), Julie (Bill), and Karla (Robert, Alex and Nathan); as well as Linda's seven sisters and three brothers. Also mourning his passing are his daughter, Teresa Park (Nathan, Caleb and Aiden), and sons Lionel Fleming (Sandy, Conrad, Vicki, Cadence and Bella), and Brad Fleming (Connor and Haley). His sisters, Lillian Parrot (Joe), Imelda Waisser (Dave), Carmel Fleming, Ethel Davis (Greg), Caroline Fleming (Kevin), and brothers Christopher, Joseph (Colette), John (Marion), Edmund (Joan), Gary (Paula), and sisters-in-law, Cathy Fleming and Susan Fleming. He is dearly missed by a special aunt Helen Hayward and her family, as well as a huge circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends in both London, Ontario and Newfoundland and Labrador. Awaiting his arrival in heaven are his parents, John and Ita Fleming, brothers Francis and Sylvester Fleming, nephew Ryan Whitty, and very special uncle and friend, Ronald Hayward. Cremation has taken place and remains are resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Newfoundland and Labrador Downs Syndrome Society are welcomed. Family and close friends are invited to a visitation and service at from 3 to 6 PM, Thursday, May 15th, at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road.
