PAUL, JUDITH ISHBEL - 1934 - 2014 - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Judith Ishbel Paul of Riverview on May 11, 2014. She was born in Springhill, N.S. and was the daughter of the late Earl and Ellen (Furlong) Paul. Judith was educated in Springhill, N.S. schools and went on to Acadia University where she graduated with a BSc in 1955. She then went on to earn a degree in Chemical Engineering, and was one of the first three women in Nova Scotia to do so. Her entire career was with Kruger Pulp and Paper in Sherbrooke and Montreal, P.Q. where she retired as Vice President of Sales. Following her retirement Judi moved to Riverview where for the last 13 years she resided with her nephew and niece, Rob and Donna Wells and their children, Ryan and Jessica. She enjoyed her many years of retirement splitting her time between Riverview, N.B., Pugwash, N.S. and Lake Park, Florida. Judi loved life, travelling the world, participating in many sports, hosting great parties for family and friends, and she was a passionate Habs fan. She is survived by sister, Helen (MacNeill), and brothers, Budd, Ian and David. She also had many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by the following siblings: Margaret Paul, Ruth Cottingham, Laurene Thompson, Jessie Wells and June Paul.
In honoring Judi’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (869-2007).
