McKNIGHT, BESSIE - At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB, May 15, 2014, Bessie Mabel McKnight. Widow of the late Harley Arnold McKnight and daughter of the late Campton M. and Madeline H. (Scott) Christie. She is survived by her sons, Murray (Marilyn) of Lincoln, NB and Russell (Judith) of St. David Ridge, NB; two grandchildren, Kevin and Lori McKnight; brother-in-law, Eugene McKnight (Ruth); sisters-in-law, Laura Christie and Jeanne Christie; several nieces and nephews. Bessie was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her brothers, Arthur, Everett, Fred and Gordon; her sister, Dorothy Reems.
Resting at the S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 2:00 pm. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 16, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Interment in Moores Mills Cemetery, Moores Mills, NB.
