On May 15, 2014, Dorothy Cora Howell-Downey went home to be with the Lord. She will be greatly missed by all her family and the many lives she has touched.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Lorne C. Howell, Edmonton and her daughter, Deborah S. Crittenden (Lloyd), Sydney; brother, Heber Mansfeild, Dartmouth. She is also survived by grandchildren, Noel, Ashley and Carmen Howell, Christopher, Mark (Angella) Crittenden, Kandie (Mike) Frosst and eight great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by husbands, Ronald Howell and Reginald Downey; sister, Annie Jacobs and brothers, George, Chester and Russell Mansfeild.
A celebration of life will be held in remembrance of Dorothy on Monday, May 19, 2014, at 1 p.m. at the SW Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney. With a reception to follow.
