DUGGAN, Catherine Mary – Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Center on December 21, 2008, after her courageous four year battle with cancer, Catherine Mary Duggan, age 53 years. Predeceased by her parents William and Margaret Guiney and brother Thomas Guiney. Also sisters-in-law: Sally Wickens and Nellie Ryan and brother-in-law Ronnie Carew. Leaving to mourn with fondest and dearest of memories, her husband Eugene; daughters: Trina (Chris Doyle), Tracy (Jason Carew); son Trevor (Evan Brockerville); four grandchildren, whom she loved more than anything else in this world: Taryn, Lynden, Kendra, Kolby; sisters: Mary Carew and Anna Best (brother-in-law Marty); brothers: Billy Guiney (sister-in-law Susan), John Guiney Yallop (brother-in-law Gary Guiney Yallop), Kevin Guiney (sister-in-law Marie), brother-in-law Kevin Duggan (sister-in-law Irene Duggan), sister-in-law Anna Duggan (brother-in-law Bill); also leaving to mourn very special friends: Margie Carew, Roxanne O’Brien, Olivia Carew, Eileen Hyde, Rita Hagan, Helen Williams, Joanie Dobbin and Sandy Chafe, James and Mary Duggan, Hannah Carew, and a very large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Also leaving behind brother Charlie Guiney. Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Monday, December 22nd, from 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Tuesday, December 23rd from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to take place from Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Cape Broyle on Wednesday, Dec. 24 at 10:30 a.m. Internment to follow at Our Lady of the Cape R.C. Cemetery, Cape Broyle.
