CORMIER, ALFRED - Alfred Cormier, 82, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at his residence, the Villa Providence in Shediac. Born on February 11, 1932 in Haute-Aboujagane, he was the son of the late Arthur and Evangeline (Richard) Cormier. He is survived by three sisters: Clémence Ouellette (late Joseph) of Shediac, Irma LeBlanc (Albert) of Scoudouc and Annie LeBlanc of Moncton; four brothers: Gérald (Claudia) of Grand-Barachois, Normand (Bernadette) of Haute-Aboujagane, Edvin and Donald (Joan) of Halifax, NS; and by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters: Géraldine, Edna and Elise; three brothers: Valerie, Ernie and Joseph.
By request there will be no visitation. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Sacré-Coeur R.C. Church, Haute-Aboujagane, on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In memory of Alfred, a contribution to the Alzheimer Society of N.B. would be appreciated.
