(May 30, 1941-May 18, 2014)-Passed peacefully away on May 18, 2014 Carolyn Norman, age 72 surrounded by her loving family after a lengthy battle with cancer. Predeceased by her father Robert, mother Maud, and bother Charles. Leaving to mourn with heavy hearts is loving husband Ralph, daughters April (Ed Snow), Karen (Roger Fitzgerald) and son Bob; six grandchildren: Ashley (Steven), Meighen, Robert (Liz), Adam, Amanda (D.J) and Rylee; precious great grandchildren: Morgan, Brandon, Annika, Cambria, Nathan and Lillian. Also leaving to mourn her sisters: Elizabeth, Janet and Glenda (Gerry); brothers: Hank (Ann) and Stan (Anne). A special thanks to the nurses and all staff in the Palliative Care Unit at the Miller Center, Dr. Andrew Hutton and health care nurse Kelly Ralph. She will be resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Monday May 19 and Tuesday May 20 from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm. Funeral to be held in Barrett's Chapel on Wednesday May 21 at 11am, interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
