Hanifan, Edna Marguerite – 80, of Windermere, passed away Friday May 16, 2014 at Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Windermere, she was the daughter of the late Spurgeon and Ada (Nelms) Jones. Edna is survived by daughter, Marie (Michael) Arsenault, Kentville; sons, Gerald Jr. (Janet) Hiltz, Berwick, David, Halls Harbour; long time companion, Frank Connors, Windermere; brother, Reginald (Isabel) Jones, Bridgewater; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one great great grandchild. Besides her parents, Edna was predeceased by her sisters, Rita, Olive, Floria, Dorothy, Audrey; brothers, Edward, Arnold, Roy, Allan and one brother in infancy. Cremation has taken place. There was a graveside service for family and close friends, Saturday May 24th at 2 p.m. in Berwick Cemetery, Chris Plant officiated.
