LÉGER, YVON - 1923 - 2014 - Yvon Léger, 90 of Cocagne and formerly of Saint-Paul passed away suddenly at the Bouctouche Golf Course on Monday, May 19th, 2014. He was married to the late Rose (Belliveau) Léger (2007). Born in Saint-Paul, he was the son of the late Judes and the late Edna (LeBlanc) Léger. Yvon was the owner/operator of Saint-Paul Lumber Ltd., before his retirement. He will be sadly missed by his common law wife Auréa Belliveau, his seven children; Léa Belliveau (Raymond) of Richiboucto, Germaine Léger (Charles Gaudet) of Shediac, Donald (Andrée) of Dartmouth, Oscar (Pauline) of Moncton, Léandre (Vicky) of Jardineville, Georges (Léola) of Bouctouche and Jacques (Agnes) of Campbell River, BC, his twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn two brothers; Lionel (Doris) and Alfred (Marie) of Moncton and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by three sisters; Edmée, Dorilla and Marie and two brothers; Aquilla and Maximin.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Thursday, May 22nd, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Friday from 1 to 3:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Paul de Kent Roman Catholic Church on Friday, May 23rd, 2014 at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery.
