It is with great sadness that the family of the late JANET EDWARDS of Marystown announces her passing at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital in St. John’s, on Friday, May 23, 2014, at the age of 76. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: Sons – Paul (Julie) of St. John’s, Dr. Scott (Kimberly) of St. John’s and Craig (Sheena) of St. John’s; Daughter – Dr. Paula (Ronnie Walsh) of St. John’s; 11 Grandchildren – Joey, Jillian, Anna, Kirk, Laura, Rebecca, William, Gordon , Kathleen, Daria and Gavin; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard; Parents, William & Kathleen Linegar.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church on Monday, May 26, at 2:00 p.m. Interment followed at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in Marystown. In Janet’s memory donations may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation or flowers gratefully accepted.
