GILLETT, TIMOTHY - Timothy Samuel Gillett of Hoyt, NB passed away at home May 27, 2014. Tim was born in Fredericton Junction on June 18, 1960 to the late Martha (Currie) Gillett and the late Harry Gillett. He graduated as a Forestry Technician and was a Woods Worker most of his working life. He loved all things sports, especially baseball and hockey and hunting. November, 2013 he was inducted into the Sports Wall of Fame with the baseball team, The Hoyt Schooners. Tim is survived by his wife Trudy Gillett, his daughter Kymberley Gillett (Jeremy Lane), sisters: Angela Hogan (Paul), Tammy Cogswell (Anthony), brother Micheal Gillett, several nieces and nephews, and his favorite lab/shepard mix companion, Chucky.
At Tim’s request there will be no visitation or funeral. You may express your sympathy by making a donation to the Hoyt Rec Center, a place where Tim spent a lot of time growing up, or a charity of your choice.
