Charles & Sarah Stedwell. Her siblings were Gertrude (Joe Armstrong), Esther, Merle (Dewey

Family and faith were very important to Dorothy. She grew up with a love of land and horses.
Mom was always at Dad's side working together for their family's future. Dorothy & Ben
faced many struggles but with strength, determination and strong faith she kept looking ahead with optimism. Dorothy loved nature and had a keen interest and knowledge of plants, birds and animals. She especially loved studying clouds, and had albums full of pictures she had taken with her camera. Another talent that must be mentioned is her writing of poetry and songs. She had a library full of books and had read all of them. With her remarkable memory she could retell the entire story. The love, care and compassion for mom from the staff of the Cabri Prairie Health Care Centre and St. Joseph's Parish will never be forgotten. They were Dorothy's extended family.
