RICHARD, JOSEPH ALPHEE - (1927 - 2014) - BOUCTOUCHE, NB - Joseph Richard 86, of Chateau Bel Age, Bouctouche passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent on Sunday, June 1, 2014 after a brief illness. Born in St. Ignace, he was the son of the late Urbain Richard and late Celina (Guimond) Richard. Joseph is survived by his brother, Armand and his wife, Dora of Coventry, Connecticut and he will be sadly missed by all his nephews and nieces that loved him dearly. Joseph was a very kind hearted man that loved to tease his nieces and nephews and was always there when they needed help. He loved telling jokes and was always one to make others laugh. He enjoyed family gatherings, especially when his brother Armand would play guitar with his nephews, France and Donald. He loved playing cards and singing with friends was a great enjoyment to him. He was predeceased by his parents, six sisters, Delphine, Irene, Rita, Edith, Alice, Elodie and seven brothers, Francis, Julien, Ernest, Arthur, Fred, Leonard, and infant Arthur.
Visitation will be held at Thompson's Funeral Home on Wednesday from noon until time of the funeral. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 3:00 pm, Thompson's Funeral Home Chapel, Richibucto. Arrangements are in care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
