Irène Bourque
BOURQUE, IRÈNE - Irène Bourque, 89, of Cap-Pelé, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Sunday June 1, 2014. Born March 9, 1925 in LeBlanc Office, she was the daughter of the late Thadée and Premilia (Babineau) Goguen. She will be sadly missed by her nine children: Majella Bourque of Cap-Pelé, Linda Dupuis (Paul Leger) of Grand-Barachois, Roger of Moncton, Paul (Eva) and Reginald (Joanne) both of Saint-André-LeBlanc, Victor (Lila LeBlanc) of Dieppe, Richard (Marcia) of Sackville, Ola (Bertha) of Saint-Antoine and Danny (Beverly Bourque) of Shemogue; four sisters: Thérèse Arsenault of Haute-Aboujagane, Aline Olvier of Alberta, Jeaninne LeBlanc of Saint-André and Loretta LeBlanc (Clarence Cormier) of Grand-Barachois; three brothers: Leonard (Camilla LeBlanc) and Valmond (Florine) both of Cap-Pelé and Roméo (Irène) of Saint-André-LeBlanc; 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Livain Bourque (1973); two sons: Gérald and Gerard; two daughters: Anne-Marie and Marie; one sister, Lorainne Durepos.
By request there will be no visitation. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Henri Roman Catholic Church, Grand-Barachois, on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Frenette Columbarium, Shediac. In memory of Irène, a contribution to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick would be appreciated.
