EWART, WAYNE - The death of Donald "Wayne" Ewart, age 70, of Salt Springs, NB, formerly of Lorneville, NB, occurred on June 8, 2014, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born on January 11, 1944 in Saint John, NB, the son of the late Lewis and Sadie (Ougler) Ewart. Wayne is survived by his companion of 25 years, Lynne Gibson of Salt Springs, NB, Lynne's daughter Janet Quinlan and her husband Ron, their children Ashleigh, Mark and Jessica; his faithful friends Homer, Mirage and Sunny. Wayne owned and operated Shep Haven Kennels in Lorneville for over 40 years, then joined Lynne to become Shep Haven Abbaway German Shepherds. Wayne showed, bred and raised German Shepherd Dogs since 1965, during which time he gathered numerous Canadian and American titles. He was a former member of the CKC, GSDCC and NBGSDC. He also judged obedience for many years. Wayne loved to spent time hunting and fishing.
