Peacefully, with her family by her side, Charlene Evelyn (Jones) Estabrooks, 66, of Sackville, passed away at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Sunday, June 1, 2014.
Born in Halifax, Charlene was a daughter of the late Ronald and Alma (Fitzgerald) Jones.
Charlene always made the most out of life, no matter the situation, she always found a way to laugh, or sing. One thing she always wanted in life was nothing more than to be a mother; she certainly fulfilled that goal in life. One of the most loving, caring, thoughtful and dedicated individuals, she spent the best years of her life loving and caring for her children, grandchildren and her great grandson. Charlene was also a loving wife, married to Larry for 48 years.
She will be sadly missed by her husband, Larry; one daughter, Tracey (Bruce) and two sons, Troy (Toby) and Todd, all of Sackville; seven grandchildren, Lesley, Taryn, Samantha, Jarren, Kalysta, Kelsey and Olivia, and one great grandson, Cohen; two sisters, Brenda and Patricia both of Hamilton, Ontario.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Timothy and Wayne and one great granddaughter, Sara, in infancy.
Services are under the care and guidance of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (364-1300). Cremation has taken place and a service of remembrance was held from the funeral home at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2014. Burial followed in the Midgic Cemetery. Rev. Vernon Vickruck officiating.
Donations in memory of Charlene may be made to the Sackville Memorial Hospital Foundation, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
