Left our lives too soon after a sudden illness on Sunday¸ April 13, 2014 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, Shirley was born to James and Nora (Kinsella) in St.John's Newfoundland on December 9, 1941. She met her best friend George in 1958 and they were married in 1964 and had been inseparable ever since; (miss you forever). Shirley will be overwhelming missed by her three children: Brenda Lahey (Brian), Brian (Jara), and Susan (Devon). Shirley stayed home to raise her own children and then gave the same love to her cherished grandchildren: Melissa, Matthew, Mitchell, Roanan and Seaira (love you Nanny Shirley). Shirley will be missed so much by her sisters Peggy (Gillard), Lorraine (McCarron), Dianne (Laidley) and brother in law John, brother Michael and sister in law Linda (Dawe) and brother in law Boyd, nephews Paul, John, Craig and special niece Dawne. For all who knew Shirley their lives are a little better and their hearts a little fuller.
