The death occurred at Maplewood Manor, Alberton on Sunday June 15, 2014 of Myrtle Francis MacWilliam, formerly of O'Leary, aged 96, wife of the late Horatio. Born on September 13, 1917, she was the daughter of the late James and Clara (Boulter) Smith. Dear mother to James (Marge), Springfield West, Verna (William) MacKinnon, Summerside and Claretta (Gerald) MacIsaac, Hebron. Loving grandmother to fourteen grandchildren and thirty two great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. Myrtle is also survived by sisters Bessie Lidstone, West Point and Marion Hamzavi, Acton, ON and sisters in law Elsie Smith, West Point and Tish Lidstone, Dunblane. Predeceased by her parents, husband, children in infancy: Brad, Stuart and Roy, brothers: Clarence, Roy, Ben, Allison, Brad, grandsons Lawrence, Glen and John and great grandson Craig Hardy. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary with visiting hours on Tuesday from 6-9pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 5:00pm in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow in the Bethel United Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Bethel United Church Cemetery would be appreciated.
