It is with great sadness the family of Edith Kirby of Burin announces her passing at her home on June 17th at the age of 82 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories husband William; sons Jerry (Muriel) of St. John's, Alvin (Betty) of Edmonton, Wade (Lynn) of Burin and Ford (Ericka) of Marystown; daughters Lois Brennan (Mike) of Marystown, Trudy Lambe (Glenn) of Halifax and Paula Walsh (Daryl) of Marystown; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters Cora Baker (Gordon) and Mildred O'Neill plus a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by infant son William and grandson Robert Brennan.
Rev. Terry Caines officiated Funeral Service from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Burin on Friday, June 20th at 2PM with interment following at Anglican Cemetery, Hodder's Point.
Pall Bearers were Alvin Kirby (son), Ford Kirby (son), Mike Brennan (son in law),
Daryl Walsh (son in law) and Tom Foote (friend of family).
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Burin.
