Passed peacefully away at Hoyles Escasoni Complex surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, June 19, 2014, age 87 years. Predeceased by her devoted husband Augustine (Gus); parents James and Mary Dunphy (nee Martin); brothers James, Christopher, Peter and John; sisters Mary and Elizabeth. Leaving to celebrate her life with fond and loving memories her children Paula, Janet (Jim Coathup), Kingston, Ont., Tony (Lindsey), Elaine (John Kufudi), Barb Hunt and Glenn (Tasha Grey); her nine grandchildren whom she adored, Alanna Truss (Joel), Nashville, TN, Stephen Bruce (Kady Brown), PEI, Leslie Redmond, Montreal, QC, Gillian Redmond (Jonathan Simon), Hayley Redmond, Rena Kufudi (Greg Lynch), Dimitra Kufudi (Erick Mathiasen), Tyler Hunt (Ron Skinner) and Redmond Hunt (Callie Langmead); two precious great grandsons AJ and Caleb Truss; as well as many other relatives and friends. Theresa was a long time member of the Women's Institute in Torbay and former program director of the Youth Bowling Council. She also spent numerous years volunteering at Holy Trinity Parish. Heartfelt thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and staff at the Health Science Centre, 4 North B and Hoyles Escasoni Complex, 1 East for their compassion and care. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, TORBAY on Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 10 a.m. from Holy Trinity Parish. Interment to follow at Old R.C. Cemetery, Torbay. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to Holy Trinity Parish.
