RICE, Robin Bruce
1948 - 2013

We sadly announce the passing of Robin Bruce Rice on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 after battling MS for many years. Rob was born in Prince Albert on August 2, 1948 to Bruce & Isobel Rice. He grew up in Prince Albert where he attended school & shortly after he moved to Calgary. While in Calgary Rob worked mainly for the City of Calgary where he retired as a foreman. It was also in Calgary where he was married & had 3 children. He is survived by his daughter Heather (Blair) Nelson & their children Hadin & Trenton; daughter Diana (Derek) Binnendyk & their child Ezekiel; son Tyler Rice; his nieces and nephews Blaire (Joel Broda), Kolby (Devon Marshall), Christy (James) Renton & their children Grady & Cooper; James (Chantelle) Rice & their children Madison, Taiya, Tessa and Kiptyn. He was predeceased by his parents Bruce & Isobel Rice. Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2014 at St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, 589 – 9th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Margaret Ferchuk officiating. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society – SK Division, 150 Albert Street, Regina, SK S4R 2N2 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
