MURPHY, William Michael — Passed peacefully away in the presence of his family on Sunday, December 28, 2008 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. William Michael (Bill) Murphy, aged 63 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Margaret (nee Leonard); daughter: Janice Williams (David); two sons: Paul and Neil (Natasha); three grandchildren: Nicole, Michael and Devon; four sisters: Margaret Coveyduck (Dave), Regina Whitten (Gerry), Suzanne O’Connell (Wayne) and Rita Walsh (Peter); two brothers: Brian (Margie) and Doug; special cousin: Deann Chafe; brother-in-law: Phonse Leonard (Lillian); sister-in-law: Lorraine Phillips (Charlie) as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday from 2 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in his memory to a charity of one’s choice.
