Peacefully at Park West Lodge on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 of Mrs. Delta Murphy (nee Gorveatt) of Charlottetown, age 89 years.
Beloved wife of the late Francis J. "Frank" Murphy and dear mother of Dale (David) Vigneault. She is also survived by her granddaughters, Deanne and Kimberly Vigneault; her sister, Hilda LaBrosse; and special nephew, Frank Murphy.
She was also predeceased by her parents, Everett and Vera Gorveatt (nee Trites); brothers, Arnold and Omer Gorveatt; sisters, Dorothy and Diane; brother-in-law, Ray Murphy; and grandson, David Francis Vigneault.

There will be no visitation or funeral service by personal request. A private graveside service will take place at a later date. If so desired, contributions in memory of Delta may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society of P.E.I.
