TINGLEY, Deborah Ann (nee Mullins)– On Thursday, December 25, 2008, Deborah Tingley of Edmonton passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Debbie is survived by her loving husband Colin. As well, Debbie leaves to mourn her parents Richard and Phyllis Mullins, brothers Richard (Marguerite) Mullins, Wayne (Pam) Mullins, Darrell (Mercedes) Mullins, and brother-in-law Ken (Sheila) Tingley. She will also be deeply missed by her nieces and nephews and many friends. Debbie, born January 8, 1959, grew up in St. John's, Newfoundland. She moved to Edmonton where she met Colin. They married on September 25, 1999, after which time she and Colin devoted themselves to the care of Colin's mother. Cremation has taken place according to her wishes. A Gathering of Remembrance will be held to allow her family and friends to celebrate her life on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the South Side Memorial Chapel, 8310 - 104 Street, Edmonton. Debbie's family will hold a service in St. John's, Newfoundland, time and location to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation for Ovarian Cancer Research at the Cross Cancer Institute, 710-10123-99 Street, Edmonton, AB T5J 3H1 or to the charity of one's choice.
