Memorial Service Notice
(1955 - 2014) - Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service to celebrate the life of the late Peter Eugene Kennedy to be held on Bell Island at Pendergast's Funeral Home beginning at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, July 9, 2014. Peter (known as Eugene to his family and close friends) passed away at his residence in St. John's on January 21 after a short battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents Geneveive (Dwyer) and Rudolph Kennedy. His step-brother Bill has subsequently passed away. He is survived by his 4 sisters: Elizabeth (Richard) Purdy, Ontario; Helen (Bruce) French, St. John's; Alice (Kenneth) Kavanagh, Bell Island; Leonie (James) Mills, New Brunswick; 2 brothers: Rudy (Debbie), Alberta; Sid (Ros), Ontario; 1 step-brother Nick (Norma), Alberta; 20 nieces and nephews and his loyal friend Michael (Melva) Fleming, St. John's.
