Peacefully at Riverview Manor, the passing of Mabel Kemp (nee Godsoe), in her 99th year, devoted wife of the late Warren Kemp, occurred on Thursday, July 3, 2014, with family by her side.
Born October 2, 1915, she was the daughter of the late David and Eva (Jackson) Godsoe. Mabel is survived by her loving daughter, Myrna (Doug) Sorrie; sister, Dot Nielsen; daughter-in-law, Mary Kemp; cherished grandchildren, Craig (Diane) Sorrie, Kim (Bill) MacKinnon, David (Jeannie) MacKenzie, Sherri (Rob) Grosvenor, James (Lisa) McCarthy; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Mabel was predeceased by son, Morley Kemp.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, with visiting hours on Saturday, July 5, 2014, from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held on Sunday, July 6, 2014, at 2 p.m., from the funeral home chapel. Interment to take place in Sturgeon Community Cemetery.
