GAGNON, AGNES - It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Agnes Mary Gagnon, loving wife of 49 years to Normand Gagnon, which occurred on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1946 in Newcastle, NB, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Arthur and Mary Elizette (Benoit) Babineau. In addition to her husband Normand, she is survived by her sons Maurice (Debra), Normand, Corey (Sherry) and Patrick (Phyllis); sisters Yvonne (Romeo) St. Cyr and Shirley (Vince) Parker; grandchildren Benjamin, Kyle and Julia; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings Shirley Ann Babineau, Joseph Arthur Babineau Jr., Eunice Lumsden and Linda Hunter.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). A memorial service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at 3 p.m. The family will receive visitors from 1 p.m. until service time.
