The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, July 4, 2014, of Marjorie (Sanford) Barbrick, of Summerside, aged 82 years. Born in Walton, Hants Co., N.S., she was the daughter of the late Payson and Mary (Stillman) Sanford. Survived by her daughter, Dr. Beth Barbrick-Crozier (Kevin Crozier), Summerside; granddaughter, Kennedy Crozier, Summerside; brother, Arnold (Doris) Sanford, Walton, N.S.; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Nelson Barbrick; brothers and sisters, Alice, Alison, Lorena, Alma, Grace, Audrey, Ruby, Avon and John. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where visiting hours will be held Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Trinity United Church, Shelburne, N.S., at a time to be announced. Interment in the Brookside Cemetery, Mill Village, (Shubenacadie), N.S. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation the Canadian Diabetes Association the Shriners Hospital for Children, or Trinity United Church, Shelburne, N.S., would be appreciated.
