It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joan F. Tarrant of Lawn announces her passing at the U.S. Memorial Health Care Centre in St. Lawrence, on Saturday, June 28, 2014, at the age of 91. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are daughter Joan (Fred) Edwards of Lawn; 3 Grandchildren Sonya (Roy) Frampton of Calgary, AB, Leo (Juanita) Edwards of Fort McMurray, AB, and Trina (Curtis) Benteau of Fort McMurray, AB; 5 Great-Grandchildren Dominique, Ryder, Hudson, Liam, and Gabriel; sister Agnes Reardon of Ontario; brothers John (Barbara) Carroll of Ottawa, ON, and Bill (Geraldine) Carroll of St. John's; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by husband, Leo Tarrant.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2014 at Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church in Lawn. Interment followed at Holy Name of Jesus R.C. Cemetery in Lawn. In Joan's memory donations may be made to Holy Name of Jesus R.C. Cemetery Fund or flowers gratefully accepted.
