David John Rascher
November 9, 1944 – July 8, 2014


David passed away on July 8, 2014 with his family by his side at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, SK after a 12 year battle with cancer. Left to cherish his memory, his loving wife Lisa; daughters Pam (Mike) Grassick of Prince Albert, SK, Sharon (Skip) Giverhaug of Eastend, SK and Penny (Bill) Arendt of Eastend, SK; his grandchildren Devlin Rascher (special friend Brianne Bullied) of Eastend, SK, Jessica Scharf (Travis Sheldon) of Shaunavon, SK, Shaelyn (special friend Braxx George) and Brianna Grassick of Prince Albert, SK; his siblings Margaret (Dennis) Rookes of Turtleford, SK, Ritchie Rascher of Turtleford, SK, Sherry (Carman) Sands of Turtleford, SK; his sisters-in-law Edie (Wilfred) Guhl of Shellbrook, SK, Sylvia (Albert) Gatzke of Belbutte, SK; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Dave was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Rita Rascher; his brother Allan Rascher; his grandson Damian Rascher; great niece Eden Duncan; uncles George Rasher, Albert Rascher, Willy Rasher and Jim Shand; father- in-law and mother-in-law Ray & Ellen Overgard. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday July 12, 2014 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1796- 15th Avenue East Prince Albert, SK.
