GAUDET, MARY (WOODS) - (1922 - 2014) - POINTE-SAPIN - Mary Gaudet 91, of Auberge du Soleil in Dieppe, previously from Pointe-Sapin passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton on Tuesday, July 15, 2014. Born in St. Louis de Kent, she was the daughter of the late Bannon Woods and late Alice (Fontaine) Woods. Before retiring, Mary was employed at Canada Post, Rural Mail Delivery. Mary will be sadly missed by her six daughters, Géraldine Gaudet (André), Jacqueline Savoie (Néri), Cécilia Gaudet (Jacques), Anne-Marie Dugas (Charles), Joanne Gaudet (Pierre), Paulette Gaudet; three sons, Réjean Gaudet (Monique), Oswald Gaudet (Gaëtane), Jean-Guy Gaudet (Suzie); thirteen grandchildren, Rachel, Emmanuel, Thomas, Danika, Jean-Denis, Joanie, Jean-Luc, Maryse, Annabelle, Patrick, Nicholas, Marie-Pier, Marc-André and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Aurore, Bertha, Rita, Imelda, Sister Anna, Maria and Eudord, Marie and Antoine. She was predeceased by her husband, Nazaire Gaudet and three brothers, James (late Blanche), Bannon Jr. and Joseph.
Visitation will be held at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Pointe-Sapin on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, Friday at 2:00 pm until time of the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 18, 2014 at 4:00 pm, St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Pointe-Sapin. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
