It is with great sadness that the family of the late MADELINE DRAKE of St. Lawrence announces her passing at The U.S. Memorial Health Care Centre in St. Lawrence, on July 15th, 2014, at the age of 85. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Daughters Brenda (Bernard) Fardy of St. John’s, Sue (Len) Slaney of Orangeville, ON, Immacula Haley of St. Lawrence, Angela Drake of St. John’s and Melaine (Gordon) Lambe of Lawn; Sons Loyola (Dolores) Drake of St. John’s, Paul (Myrtle) Drake of Mount Pearl and Julian (Jocelyn) Drake of Vancouver, B.C.; Sister Mable Klenner of Toronto, ON; 13 Grandchildren; 8 Great-Grandchildren; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by Husband William, Daugher Gail, Sisters Beatrice and Charlotte, and Brother Raphael.

The Funeral Mass of Christian Burial took place on Saturday, July 19th, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment followed at Mt. Cecilia Roman Catholic Cemetery in St. Lawrence. In Madeline’s memory donations may be made to U.S. Memorial Hospital Auxillary. No flowers by request of the family.
