Passed away at the Blue Crest Nursing Home Grand Bank on Wednesday July 16,2014 Charles M. Grandy of Fortune age 59 years. Predeceased by parents Morgan & Lucy Grandy, & father-in –law John R. Caines. Leaving to mourn; wife Marie, & daughter Alicia, mother-in- law Lucy Caines. 4 brothers; Cyril (Judy), Lloyd (Mary), Ralph (Bertha), Joe (Mary), 2 sisters Gloria (Gord), Susan (Charles), 3 brother-in laws; Rennie (Ada), John (Joan), Tony (Geneva), 3 sister-in laws; Maisie (Andre), Shelia (Wayne), & Karen (Claude). Plus a large circle of other relatives & friends. Funeral service was conducted by Rev. Neal Buffett, Rev. Lochleigh Fiander, & Rev Joan Brinston on Friday July 18,2014 at 2pm from All Saint's Anglican Church Fortune. Organist was Henrietta Pope. Interment followed at Frenchman's Cove United Church Cemetery. Pall Bearers were; Lloyd Grandy, Wayne White, Tony Caines, Josiah Grandy, Ralph Grandy, & Terry Stacey. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Warren’s Funeral Home Grand Bank.
