NICKERSON, Burnley Lawrence - 76, South Side, passed away at home on the 19 day of July, 2014. Born January 30, 1938 in South Side, he was the son of the late Lindsay Sr. and Suzanna (Ross) Nickerson. He is survived by two sons, Derrick, Alberta; Lawrence (Angela), Clyde River; brothers, Winford (Gloria), South Side; Lindsay (Shirlene), Port Saxon; Roger, Barrington; Michael, South Side; sisters, Alda Nickerson, Centreville; Glenora (Donald) McLellen, Princeton, B.C.; Diane (Bud) Nickerson, Centreville; and four grandchildren. Besides his parents he was predeceased by wife, Jacqueline (Burgess); brothers, Clyde, Donald, Allen, Emerson; and sister, Kathleen. There was a visitation held Wednesday, 7-9 p.m., at the H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. The Graveside Service took place 11 a.m. Thursday, July 24, from the White Lily Cemetery, South Side with Rev. Shaun Hatfield officiating. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
