Passed away at St. Luke's Home on Tuesday, July 29th, 2014, in the presence of her loving family, at the age of 70. Predeceased by her parents Gordon and Lillian Janes. Leaving to mourn her husband John; children: Stephen (Brenda), Ann-Marie Penney (Stephen), and Brian; grandchildren Bradley and Jessica McCormick, Samantha and Alexandria Penney; sisters: Gloria LeDrew (Albert), Phyllis Sutton (Henry), and Christine Janes, also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitations will be held at Barrett's Funeral home 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Wednesday July 30th and Thursday July 31st from 2 pm-4 pm and 7 pm-9 pm. Funeral service will take place at Barrett's Funeral Chapel, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, on Friday August 1st at 10am with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
